HOME ALONE is the story of 8-year-old Kevin , a mischievous kid who feels largely ignored by his large extended family. While everyone is preparing for a Christmas vacation in Paris, Kevin gets in trouble, is banished to the attic overnight, and wishes his family would just disappear. He gets his wish the next morning when they mistakenly leave him behind. At first Kevin is elated -- but pretty soon he realizes that being home alone isn't all it's cracked up to be. With all of the block's other families also away, Kevin has no one to turn to. Meanwhile, a pair of bumbling burglars played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern take advantage of the situation by pillaging the neighborhood.
When Kevin realizes what happened, he gets excited that he has the house all to himself. Thinking that the McCallister house is empty during the holidays, some neighborhood burglars look to take advantage of the situation and try and burglarize the home. With his booby traps and cleverness, Kevin does his best to stave off the thieves while he waits for his family to return. However, Home Alone is a family comedy series that features a young boy that experiences exciting adventures after being accidentally left behind by his family when going on a family holiday. The comedy, the action, and the cleverness with which the protagonist handles all the challenges have forged it into a must-watch series of a Holiday regardless of your age. Since its initial release, Home Alone has been hailed as a holiday classic among audiences and is one of the best Christmas films of all time.

Google Assistant helps Kevin set up the house to look active by remotely turning on lights, devices, and setting up cutouts of people, to have the thieves parked in a van outside steer clear of the house. Some people might not like the “uncanny valley” efforts to create realistic humans in CGI, but the movie itself is a faithful and entertaining adaptation of Charles Dickens’ story. Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, and Robin Wright also provide voices and motion capture for other roles in the film. The McCallister family prepares to spend Christmas with Peter and Frank's brother Rob in Paris, gathering at Peter and Kate's home in a suburb of Chicago the night before their flight. Eight-year-old Kevin, their youngest son, finds himself the subject of ridicule from his siblings and cousins. After getting into an argument with his older brother Buzz, he is sent to the third floor bedroom of the house, where he wishes his family would disappear. During the night, a power outage resets the alarm clocks and causes the family to oversleep.
While Harry and Marv pursue Kevin around the house, he calls the police and lures the duo into a vacant neighboring house which they had previously broken into. Harry and Marv ambush Kevin and prepare to get their revenge, but Marley intervenes and knocks them unconscious with his snow shovel. The police arrive and arrest Harry and Marv, having identified all the houses that they broke into due to Marv's destructive habit of flooding them. The next day, the McCallisters accidentally sleep in and barely make it to their flight, but when airborne they realize they forgot Kevin. As his family desperately tries to book a flight back to Chicago, Kevin is thrilled to have the house to himself. However, a pair of burglars named Harry and Marv have robbed several houses in the neighborhood and now have their sights on the McCallister house. The sight gags in HOME ALONE 3 are well executed, but some of the slapstick violence goes too far. Although protecting our home, honesty, compassion for the elderly, and other good values are presented in this movie, many people may complain that the gags are too scatological and painful. HOME ALONE 3 may be dynamite entertainment for young boys of all ages, but the painful gags may wear thin on parents.
Will there be more Home Alone movies depended on the success of Home Sweet Home Alone, but we think that the franchise is not going to end here. The franchise has survived all of these years despite some very questionable installments, which is why we think that we will see more Home Alone movies in the future. He then tastes a quiet life, doing the shopping himself and believing himself to be definitely alone; but he does not know that two burglars planned to empty the house on Christmas Eve.

By the time the film had run its course in theaters, Home Alone was the third-highest-grossing film of all time worldwide, as well as in the United States and Canada behind only Star Wars ($322 million at the time) and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial ($399 million at the time), according to the home video box.
